FAQs

Orders, Billing and Shipping

Am I billed on checkout?

No.  We will not bill you until we have reviewed your order and proofed all graphics.  You will receive your payment details separate from your quote checkout. Depending on the billing options that you have selected or have been approved for, you will be billed only when your exhibit has completed quality assurance and moved into production.  Enterprise level accounts requiring PO/Accounts Receivable process may be available upon request. Larger/Custom exhibits may require a deposit to begin production or design.

What are my billing options?

Encore Exhibits accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  We also accept Check, Paypal, ACH and can work directly with your billing / accounts receivable department to set up payment terms.  Payment options other than credit card may be subject to pre-qualification and effect shipping/production timelines.

What are my shipping options?

Encore Exhibits typically ships FedEx or UPS ground.  Larger exhibits may ship via LTL freight shipping.  We can also work directly with your shipping department/vendors if you prefer shipping to be placed on your account.  We can also coordinate directly with your exhibit team if you are shipping directly to a show location.

Graphics and Printing

What are my design options?

Encore Exhibits offers multiple options for graphics creation and delivery. Our large format experts will proof every file before printing to ensure you have a high quality exhibit every time!

Option 1: BYOD - Bring your own design. We provide design templates for download for all of our exhibits. These include artboard, trim and bleed areas. You can upload graphics files via our Upload Center.

Option 2: Partial Design - You provide the logos and/or artwork and we provide the design expertise. Encore Exhibit large format experts can help you take your raw graphics and make a professional, aesthetically pleasing design that adheres to large format specifications. Design packages are typically 4-8 hours of design at $60/hour. For smaller items and accessories, the design fees may only be a minimum setup charge of $20-$50, depending on the item.

Option 3: Full Custom - Encore's Exhibit professionals can help you with every phase of your booth or exhibit. From custom structure consulting to artwork/design/interactive creation services, we can help you stand out from the crowd. Design packages are typically 8-24 hours of design at $60/hour.

Once you place your order, our design experts will review all artwork and requirements for your display. The exact process and exhibit needs vary from client to client. A brainstorming / consultation call may be helpful to get the design process started. This process might take a few days or a few weeks, depending on your exhibit needs and how many individuals are participating in the review process. Once you are satisfied with the exhibit mockup, we require final approval before your display is sent into production.

How do I send files and designs?

Once your quote has been submitted and processed, you will receive a link our Upload Center where you can upload any files that may be required for your exhibit. Please let us know when an upload is complete so we can get started as soon as possible.

In order to achieve the best quality, we ask that you supply a vector logo, keep files layered, and create outlines from fonts.  Feel free to contact us with any questions.

Where do I find your Upload Center to send files?

On the top menu of the page is an "Upload Graphic Files" link.  You will need to enter the username and password that corresponds with your order.  This will be provided to the email address you provide on quote/checkout. Uploading your graphics is a simple 3 step process with pointers along the way. If you have any problems, you can contact us anytime.

Where can I locate graphic templates?

Whenever you place your quote, you will be emailed all necessary graphic templates and specifications.

What file types do you accept?

Adobe Photoshop CC, CS6, CS5, or CS4 (.psd, .tif, .pdf), Adobe Illustrator CC, CS6, CS5, or CS4 (.ai, .eps, .pdf), PDF, JPG

Ideally resolution is 150-300 dpi at actual size.

In order to achieve the best quality, we ask that you supply a vector logo, keep files layered, and create outlines from fonts.  Feel free to contact us with any questions.

How long until I see a proof?

If you have uploaded graphics created with our template files, turnaround time for digital proofs is typically same day or next day depending on the quality check process.

What if I don't have my logo in vector format?

If you have a high quality bitmat version of your logo, it might not be an issue.  If you only have a low resolution logo, the designers at Encore Exhibits can recreate your branding in vector format. This would be considered an additional graphic service available at a rate of $85/hour - approx 2-4 hours. Afterwards, we supply an Adobe Illustrator file of the logo for your future use.

Can I use any font I would like?

Yes, but when sending your file, please create outlines of all fonts.  It is also helpful to send a copy of the fonts you were using should an edit be necessary during the proofing/production process. Please send fonts in ttf or otf formats.

What is image resolution?

Image resolution is essentially the level of detail the image contains. Technically, it is the number of pixels contained in every inch of printed material (also known as DPI).  Ideally image resolutions are between 150-300 dpi at actual size.  We realize it is difficult to obtain all artwork for large format printing at this size.  The minimum quality for graphics would be 72 dpi at actual size.  To effectively balance quality vs. file size, it is also not necessary to send files with too much resolution (600+ dpi).  Most large format graphics look identical beyond 3-5 feet whether they are 150, 300 or 600 dpi.

What is the ideal image resolution?

150-300 DPI is the ideal resolution for large format printing such as that found on displays and banners. Higher resolutions can still be utilized but provide more detail than a person will really notice.  Our large format exhibit experts are available to review or consult regarding image quality.  We are dedicated to ensuring you receive a quality exhibit every time!
